NEW DELHI — Mahindra & Mahindra is set to officially unveil the updated Thar 3-door on September 22, 2026. The popular lifestyle off-roader receives a substantial mid-cycle overhaul, aligning its exterior aesthetics, cabin technology, and safety hardware with the recently introduced Thar Roxx.
Positioned in the ₹10.50 lakh to ₹17.50 lakh price band (ex-showroom), the refreshed Thar brings high-demand creature comforts and advanced driver assistance systems without compromising its classic short-wheelbase go-anywhere capability.

The 2026 Thar 3-door trades its retro vertical-slat grille for the bolder, double-stacked mesh grille introduced on the 5-door Thar Roxx.

2.0-litre mStallion Turbo-Petrol: Delivers 150 bhp and up to 320 Nm torque; available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic (RWD & 4x4).
