Alongside the vehicle launch, TVS has introduced a structural shift in ownership with its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which is now available across its entire electric scooter lineup, including the iQube.
The Orbiter V1 introduces a dual-pricing strategy aimed at lowering the upfront cost of switching to electric mobility.
| Ownership Type | Price (Ex-showroom, Delhi) | Includes |
| BaaS Model | ₹49,999 | Upfront vehicle cost + Monthly battery subscription |
| Standard Purchase | ₹84,500 | Full upfront ownership (including battery) |
The BaaS Advantage: Under the subscription model, monthly plans start at ₹862.
This includes an extended battery warranty for up to 5 years or 70,000 km and allows for unlimited monthly usage with no kilometer restrictions.
The Orbiter V1 is powered by a 1.8 kWh battery pack, making it a lighter alternative to the existing Orbiter V2 (which features a 3.1 kWh battery).
Range: Certified IDC range of 86 km on a single charge.
Charging: 0–80% in approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Ride Modes: Dual modes—Eco and Power—equipped with regenerative braking.
Rider Aids: Includes Hill Hold Assist, Cruise Control, and Parking Assist.
Despite its budget-friendly positioning, the Orbiter V1 retains several premium features:
Storage: A best-in-class 34-litre under-seat storage capable of fitting two helmets.
Ergonomics: An 845 mm long flat seat and a 290 mm straight-line footboard for maximum legroom.
Connectivity: Features a coloured LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and incoming call/SMS alerts.
Safety: Integrated proactive alerts for crashes, falls, and anti-theft, manageable via a connected mobile app.
The TVS Orbiter V1 is available in two new colors: Martian Copper and Stellar Silver.
